Job Description

A Senior Consultant at WiSys excels at working with new and existing customers to:

  • Successfully manage multiple implementations of our Real-Time ERP suite
  • Identify and manage business requirements and functional design
  • Prototype, Design Processes, Test, Train and Support Implementations

Senior Consultants are required to have:

  • 4 years of manufacturing/operations/business  consulting experience
  • Experience in process reengineering
  • Solid experience with network operations, operating systems, Microsoft server and operating systems, database platforms and related database tools, WAN, LAN, SQL 2000/05/08, Windows 2003/08 and experience with at least one programming language
  • Must have experience in report writing, preferably Crystal Reports
  • Extensive background at both the Application level and data schema with both Macola ES and Progression 7.x with the majority of this experience related to the Distribution and Manufacturing applications
  • Must have  expert-level SQL skills
  • Four-year technical degree and/or technical certifications (i.e. MCSD/Solutions Developer/PMP) will receive preferential treatment
  • Experience with Citrix and Terminal Services
  • A willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, largely in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Identify gaps in our software solutions relative to customers’ needs
  • Architect the design for the overall software solution incorporating those needs
  • Assist customers in the installation, training and deployment of the solution
  • Maintain high utilization percentage while achieving high customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a positive, constructive attitude in the workplace. This includes presenting challenges in a positive light, offering constructive approaches to overcoming difficulties, and treating all individuals with respect
  • Assist sales with technical pre-sales opportunities
  • Assist business partners with implementation of integrated solutions
  • Directly interface with Development on recommended Software enhancements and or bug resolution.
  • Apply advanced technical expertise to troubleshoot complex business application software issues as they pertain to the use of the application and operating/network environment, and installation/implementation
  • Serve as customer advocate, managing each interaction to achieve customer satisfaction and identify customer business needs for product improvement within department guidelines and escalation tools
  • Will provide valuable input and insight into new releases, assist in prioritizing bug fixes for the customer and/or partner
